2009 & 2013

Ah what a difference 4 years makes... check out these two babies.  I know every mom thinks that their kids are cute, but I seriously can't get enough of these two.  Sometimes they look a lot alike to me and other times not at all.  Oh well, so cute and so smiley - what a combo!

Aspiring Artist

A while back someone suggested that I take a picture of Abby's artwork rather than keep the real thing and I'm finally getting around to doing it.  I wish I would have done it sooner because some of these pics are at least 6 months old and I can't remember what they are drawings of, oh well, we can use our imaginations.  Maybe someday I'll regret throwing away the originals, but I just can't seem to find a place for all of them, so I'm switching to digital Abby art.  She is really into writing and drawing people that look hilariously phallic.  I love coloring and drawing so I'm thrilled that she's taken up a new hobby!

School Pictures

I love school pictures. There's something so nerdy about them that really appeals to me. Look how big Abby is! I cannot believe how old she looks.

Big kids

Gus is getting bigger and bigger before my eyes and Abby just seems to getting more and more mature. It's amazing. My two big kids!

Making a scientific journal (someone has been watching a lot of Sid the Science Kid).

Abby has been sick so she's been napping - 2 kids napping at once, crazy!

Abby is thrilled to announce that she can make toast! So proud!

Busy mom!

Getting fancy for Pinkalicious the Musical!

2 months old!

May 2013

A May filled with sunshine! How did we get so lucky. Gus is 2 months old!

Thank you Charlie and Abby for making my Mother's Day extra special!

Abby can hang here for an impossibly long time!

Big sister of the year award

I'm so thankful that (at least 6 weeks in) that Abby has had nothing but love for Gus! She has taken to wishing on dandelions for "mom to never have to feed Gus again" but she's still smiling while she says it and who can blame her? Sometimes I wish Charlie could take over all the feeding too!
