Baby Pictures
I think that Abby looks a lot like Charlie, but my Mom sent me this picture of me at 10 days old so we could compare Abby and I side by side. I'm still not sure but I'm starting to think she does look more like me than I originally thought.
Also, Amazon Fresh just started delivering to my zip code this week. I just got my first order today and I LOVE it. Such good timing...

Thank You Visitors!
We had some of our first visitors this weekend and want to say thanks for the food and support! It's fun to share our excitement and the food is very appreciated too. I know that Charlie was excited to eat something besides a turkey sandwich for dinner and that's been about all I've had the energy for the last few days... so thanks again! We are lucky to have such good friends!
Abby's First Party...
Bubbie and Goose (Charlie's parents) stopped by on Friday night for Abby's first party. They brought cupcakes and candles and we had a little celebration for Abby's first week. Abby slept through the party, but we all know that she had a great time anyway. So far Abby sleeps peacefully most of the day and a little less peacefully at night and is eating more and more each day. We are pretty smitten with her! And so is her older "sister" Sammy. We are very proud of Sammy's adjustment so far. She is very attentive to little Abby and checks in on her frequently. It's pretty cute.

Abigail Lillian Malley is One Week Old!
Hello! I am finally able to sit down and update all of you on the exciting events of the past week! I apologize for not doing it sooner, but as most of you know, it's hectic bringing a new baby home and we had a few bumps in the road that delayed me even more.
Abigail was born last Friday at 9:21 p.m. She weighed 5 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long. We were a little surprised by her early arrival (4 weeks early) but overjoyed to have her arrive healthy and sporting a cute little sprout of black hair, some grayish eyes that I suspect will turn brown and one of the cutest little pouty mouths you ever might see. We spent some extra long days in the hospital and have been home for a few days figuring out how to sleep, feed on demand and make sure little Abby is happy, but it's all paid off because Abby is gaining weight and getting stronger every day. It's been great and I hope that we will have a chance to see all of you soon!
