Goodbye May!

Here's a look back at all the fun pictures we took this month. Abby is getting really good at holding up her head and she loves to sit upright with help and put weight on her legs. She still doesn't seem close to rolling over, but I'm sure it will come soon enough. She's sleeping a lot more too, 5 hours in a row or so on our good nights so we're pretty happy with the progress on that front too. Hopefully June will be even better!

Abby and the "Grandmas"

Charlie's grandparents came to Seattle for a visit and to meet Abby last weekend. We were so excited that they were able to make the trip up here and that the weather cooperated for their visit. Here's a few shots of Abby charming the great grandparents at a BBQ on Sunday.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! I feel like the luckiest mom ever. I have a perfect baby, a loving husband and a great family! My Mom has provided such a great example for me to follow. She is funny, caring, nurturing and 100% there for you whenever you need her. I hope that I can be the kind of mom to Abby that my Mom has always been for me. Abby is one lucky girl and I know she will love her Meme as much as I love her!
For Mother's Day my mom had pictures taken of Abby and Eli. Here are some of the best shots... It was hard to pick just a few, they are all so great!

Growing up so fast...

Abby will be two months old on Friday. It has gone by so fast I can't believe that she is almost two months old... I think she might be spoiling us more than we are spoiling her. She is a quiet and happy little baby. She is smiling more and more and she very rarely cries. When she does you can usually fix it by picking her up and cuddling her or giving her food or her binky. We spend most of our days walking around the neighborhood and she gladly sleeps or gazes at the toys on her stroller as we walk. Take a look at how much she has grown, I had forgotten just how small she was when we first brought her home.

Picnic at the Dog Park

Friday was a beautiful sunny day so we joined Kelsey, Eli, Peter and Rachel at the dog park. Sammy had a great time at the dog park and then the rest of us had a nice picnic at the playground next to the dog park. Abby slept though most of the picnic, here she is enjoying a little snooze on the grass with her new giant sun hat.
