Happy Halloween!

Abby and I were at Whole Foods the other day and Holli Dunn Photography was taking free Halloween portraits. Didn't she do a great job?

Aloha!

Here's Abby in her UV tent at the pool. No matter how tired she was, she would NOT nap by the pool and no matter how many of the best toys ever were inside, she would not stay in the tent... oh well, at least she was never crying, just moving and climbing.

As you can see, Abby loved having her Daddy around all the time.

Here we are in our back "yard". Staying in a condo was awesome, we had a great pool, a nice little cafe for lunches and drinks by the pool and a BBQ and fully stocked kitchen. It was perfect!

Abby's favorite part of the condo? The sliding glass doors and the mirrored closets.

We had such a great time in Hawaii, the weather was hot and sunny, Abby loved swimming in the pool and slept like a champ at night and Charlie and I had a great time too! Our first family vacation couldn't have been better and after 2 days home in Seattle, I'm already looking forward to our next one!

Let's play! Let's cuddle!

Who knew that Abby would like her plastic toy box more than the actual toys?

Look at my sweet little cuddly baby... I wish she would snuggle with me all the time!

Ahhh Fall!

Abby has spent the last 7 months full of smiles and joy and I have to wonder if maybe part of it is the weather. It's been the best 7 months of sun that I can remember and today was no exception. We went to the pumpkin patch with Kelsey, Eli, Peter and Rachel and had so much fun. The farm is up in Snohomish and it was surrounded by farm land, mountains, sunflowers and construction, so there was a little bit for everyone (Eli LOVES trucks). I think I'm going to have to go back to the pumpkin patch with Charlie and anyone else who'll go with me because I've always wanted to go through a corn maze and we didn't have enough time to do that today.

Hello from my in-laws' house...

Doesn't she look like she's singing?

Don't mess with this tough girl!

Practicing her pirate face

I haven't been blogging much because we have taken up temporary residence at the in-laws... it is only temporary and when we move back we will simultaneously experience the joy of home sweet home and the joy of brand new bathrooms! I can't wait. Thank you in-laws for graciously hosting me, Charlie, baby Abby and Sammy. We are very thankful that you haven't kicked us out or complained about our super early bird baby or way too playful doodle. You guys are the best!
