Abby's New Toy

I'm desperate for anything that will help Abby keep the binky in her mouth. She LOVES her binky but can't seem to keep it from popping out of her mouth every 5 minutes or so... anyway someone in my mom's group told me about these binkies with a toy attached to them that are supposed to help. It seems to help a bit. I think they are really cute though and it helps me keep track of her binkies so it was worth the money just for those 2 things alone... hopefully it's just a matter of time before it also starts helping with our main binky problem.

We helped my mom celebrate her birthday this week. Abby loves a good party, she was awake and happy at first and then slept the rest of the time. Here she is dozing off in the arms of the birthday girl.

Abby's First Easter

Abby's first Easter was cold and wet, but she brought lots of sunshine to our day with her bright Easter outfit and an occasional smile... that's right, Abby can smile! So far they are fleeting and you have to be lucky to catch one, but hopefully with a little practice she'll be smiling at everyone soon. I have a video of her smile, but I haven't managed to get the computer, video camera and free time all together at once. I'm sure it will happen soon though.

Abby Loves to Sleep

She sleeps a lot, we feel like we're pretty lucky. She is beautiful and she loves to sleep. We are still working on getting those sleep hours to occur all in a row and mostly at night, but baby steps... Here's a pic of her looking cute and awake!
