Happy Anniversary Charlie!

I love you more today than ever! You are a great husband, dad and friend and I'm so lucky to be Melissa Malley! Happy third anniversary Charlie!

Abby might hate the Super Bowl

What do you think Abby? There were tears and smiles. So which is it? Do you love or hate the Super Bowl? I guess we better do a little pro con pro, but still we might have to wait till next year to find out whether Abby hates or loves the Super Bowl.

PRO:

Abby finally got to play with Dad's Rock Band stuff.

Future member of The Who 2? Who knows?

CON:

Watching TV in the creepy basement? I HATE the super bowl!

PRO:

Snacks and cuddling with Sammy and Mommy... not so bad.

Let's make a mess!

This must be what Abby is thinking all the time, because if there's an opportunity to make a mess, she's up for it! I knew it would happen eventually, but I was hoping maybe it wouldn't... I cannot leave Abby by herself for even a minute anymore, she'll find something to climb, tip over, or destroy. Good thing she's so lovable and cute, because I think it's only going to get worse for a while

Charlie keeps this box of newspapers in the living room so that he can quickly start fires... or so he says (we start a fire maybe once a month). I have been scheming to get rid of it for at least a year and Abby and Sammy finally made the case for that collection of newspapers to go to the recycling where they belong! : )

Abby & Eli

We had Eli over to play today while Kelsey ran errands. They can finally play together! (Actually Abby just crawls around after Eli and tries to take his toys and he walks away, plays with something else, and patiently labels things for Abby or pats her on the head - but that counts, right?)

It's very cute. If only I could have captured some of the really cute moments. Eli often pats Abby's head and one time they were sitting and smiling at something with their cute little heads together, but of course I was not ready with the camera. I'll keep the camera closer to me next time.

Both these babies love to shop.

Eli and Abby playing by the couch.

Abby kept trying to take Eli's car. We definetly need to work on the concept of sharing.

Eli trying to make Abby laugh.

I got this look from Eli a lot. He knows a lot of words and had a lot to say to me, but it was obvious that I didn't always understand and my answers probably didn't make sense to him... so he looked confused a lot.

Abby's Weekend of Fun

Abby had a busy weekend, somebody new to play with every night and Bubbe's birthday as a finale! What a weekend!

Doesn't she look so old?

Abby's friend Olivia

Abby shows Olivia which buttons make the best sounds.

Looking mischievous

Poor Sammy... she just can't leave that tail alone.

How does that cake look Abby? Yummy!
